Today is launch day.
Today the manuscript became a book readers can actually choose.
Shark Protocol is officially out from SlushBucket Publishing and available through Amazon in ebook and paperback.
That sentence is short. Getting to write it was not.
This book has been an idea, an outline, a messy draft, a rewritten draft, a formatted file, a proof, a list of corrections, another proof, a website entry, a cover thumbnail, and a project that somehow continued finding tiny jobs for me right up until the finish line.
Now it belongs to readers too.
Shark Protocol follows Jake Rourke and journalist Alex Sinclair as they approach a buried conspiracy from very different directions. Jake understands what systems are capable of hiding. Alex understands what happens when evidence refuses to stay hidden. The closer they get to the truth, the more dangerous the people protecting it become.
I wanted the book to move quickly, but I also wanted room for character, consequences, political pressure, field action, surveillance, and the kind of dark humor people use when the situation has already gone far beyond reasonable.
If you like black-ops thrillers, political conspiracies, secrets buried inside official stories, and characters who keep moving when stopping would be much safer, I hope Shark Protocol earns a place on your reading list.
Amazon is available now in ebook and paperback. Indigo availability is coming soon, and I will keep the book page updated as additional retailer information becomes available.
Mostly, though, today is about gratitude.
Thank you to the ARC readers who gave early feedback. Thank you to everyone who listened while I talked about revisions, covers, formatting, metadata, and all the invisible parts of making a book. And thank you to the readers willing to take a chance on a new thriller from an independent publishing house.
The system has a predator.
Shark Protocol is live.
